The Children’s Program provides a secure and therapeutic environment specifically designed for children ages 5-12. The Dreams Program teaches residents how to manage symptoms, emotions, and behaviors associated with traumas or other mental-health related problems by establishing a primary goal of identifying and implementing solutions that support a return the community.
To be qualified for the Dreams program at Fox Run Center, residents must be experiencing symptoms associated with severe depression or other axis I diagnoses, family and/or social conflicts, anxiety, excessive fears, severe problems with self-esteem, mood and/or thought disorders, impulse control disorders, aggression, self-injurious behaviors, coping with trauma, sexual, physical, and/or verbal abuse, and/or neglect.
Our Dreams unit is staffed by our “Dream Team”- consisting of professionals who are specifically trained to work with younger children’s needs. The Dreams Program is designed for these young children in smaller groups that allow individualized and personalized attention.
